Downtown Madrid City Center

Up Closer

Inside looking up!!!

Shopping square with outside shops and booths everywhere!

A famous place to eat topas. Small foods and drinks to eat on the go. Elbow room only! We had to buy Doug a Santa's hat in order to keep track of him!! It also helped keep his bald head warm!!

Yep! There's Doug again.

A big attraction we waited in line for. The largest Nativity Scene ever on display.

The back side of the little city!

Looking from the middle corner to the end

"A Mediterranean Barbecue"
November 24, 2012
The great group of young adults we work with.

Climbing "The Rock" - only for the brave! Of course Doug is right in there with the rest of them. He dropped his missionary ring into the sea below and believe it or not, John Rozan, the big guy on the right, retrieved it. A miracle!!

A few of us for a stroll along the sea

Our sweet Elizabeth from Cuba -- one of our new leaders

Grandpa Spainhower watching over our nietas in Spain

Celebrating birthdays--one cake, lots of mouths to feed. Elder Spainhower is hoping there is enough left for him too!!

Carlos Aparicio, his last activity with us before leaving for the Provo MTC and then New Zealand. "Flying High"

At the rock for a moment of solitude! (No, this is not Gibraltar!)
